The Karacan Beach Hotel is on its own 80 metre long stretch of beach overlooking the Aegean coastline. The hotel is three miles to the west of the centre of Marmaris and its attractions. Marmaris was originally a fishing port and has now become the most European of all the Turkish resorts. There are regular buses passing the hotel into the resort centre and back.
